Prof. Boqiang Lin

Lin Boqiang is a Chair Professor at the School of Management at Xiamen University and Dean of the China Institute for Studies in Energy Policy. His research and teaching fields include energy economics, energy finance, and energy and climate change. He is the editor-in-chief of the international journal Energy Economics, an executive committee member of the Energy Future Board of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and a board member of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation. In 2024, he ranked among the top 0.05% of high-ranking scholars in the Scholars-GPS lifetime ranking. He ranks first among Chinese scholars across all fields in both the lifetime and the last five-year rankings, second among global scholars in the last five-year ranking, and fourth among global scholars in the lifetime ranking of energy disciplines.
