Eric Stryson possesses expertise in governance, business model innovation, leadership transformation, talent development, and sustainability. He coaches leaders from business, government, and civil society to critically examine their roles, look beyond conventional wisdom, deepen their understanding of global issues, and take ownership of their impact on their organisations and society at large. Over the last 16 years, Eric has been involved in designing, planning, and facilitating over 60 executive education programmes, including field projects across 15 countries in Asia.
In addition to leading GIFT’s business from Hong Kong, Eric manages key client and partner relationships and develops original content and innovative field projects for GIFT’s suite of executive education offerings. He has led the development of customised experiential programmes for a wide range of global organisations, including Allianz, BASF, FedEx, AIA, ORIX, SEG Automative, Temasek and the Dubai Government.
Before joining GIFT, Eric managed multi-stakeholder partnerships between global MNCs and civil society groups in the United States and China. He writes and speaks on topics related to leadership and talent, business and society, and the role of technology. Eric is an alumnus of Stanford University and holds a Masters from Hong Kong University.

Eric has nearly 20 years of experience coaching hundreds of professionals from mid to senior level management and high potential next generation talents from more than 80 countries. His facilitation experience covers the following:- Leading discussions on strategic global and regional awareness, including the role of business in society, policy making and sustainability, the role of technology, pricing externalities and climate finance, amongst other topics.
- Facilitating the ideation and production of original business models to address persistent challenges ranging from material circularity to inclusive agricultural, housing microfinance, remote healthcare access and many others.
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement and dialogue between corporate and international civil society leaders in a wider variety of countries and contexts including policy research, market analysis, corporate affairs and new business development.
