Foong is a Programme Associate at GIFT ASEAN. He is involved in activity planning, coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the documentation of programme outcomes.
Prior to GIFT, Foong was a Digital Technologies Consultant at UNICEF Malaysia where he supported Climate and Environment, Child Protection, and other programme units in the adoption and implementation of digital solutions for children and youths.
Foong graduated from Sunway University with a Bachelor of Science Degree with major in Medical Biotechnology. During his studies, he led the youth organisation AIESEC in organising youth-focused community projects and events.
He is fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
