Pial Khadilla is the Managing Director—ASEAN at the Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT), an independent pan-Asian think tank with headquarters in Hong Kong. Pial is adept at introducing critical perspectives and fresh ideas on leadership, organisational culture and purposeful corporate development to help companies navigate complexities with greater insight.​

​Together with the diverse team at GIFT, Pial orchestrates the design and delivery of GIFT’s executive programme offerings. Her portfolio boasts a series of high-profile collaborations with leading organisations across Southeast Asia such as AIA, ASTRA, BASF, Bank Negara Malaysia, Boustead, BTPN Bank, CIMB, HSBC, Maxis, Petronas, Great Eastern, and Prudential Indonesia, Sabah Civil Service Department, marking her as a key player in the domain of executive education.​

​Pial has a keen sense in identifying growth opportunities, fostering partnerships, and implementing strategies to help organisations deepen their impact. Pial played a pivotal role in GIFT’s expansion to ASEAN by establishing the office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Pial’s professional experience spans banking, ecommerce, coaching and entrepreneurship. Before her tenure at GIFT, Pial’s journey included a significant chapter at the Central Bank of Malaysia before launching her own coaching practice in the realm of personal development. As a Performance Coach, Pial integrates the profound study of Ontology into her coaching methodology, offering a unique blend of philosophical insight and practical performance strategies.​

​Pial has become a catalyst for change, helping individuals and organisations redefine success, enhance performance, and navigate the seismic shifts shaping our world with clarity and agility. 

Pial holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Bath, England.​

Coaching & Facilitation Experience

​Pial has a decade of experience facilitating hundreds of professionals, including young executives, middle management and C-Suite executives across Southeast Asia. Her facilitation experience covers the following:​

  • Leading discussions centred on the topic of learning and empathy, including self-awareness, effective stakeholder management, cultural sensitivity, navigating inter-generational complexity, and inculcating a culture of learning
  • Managing and facilitating discussions amongst senior executives representing companies in Southeast Asia via GIFT’s customised leadership programmes
  • Mentoring and coaching high-potential and middle-management professionals in field projects, which include stakeholder engagements and the creation of new business models
