He is widely featured in regional and global news media coverage as a talented economic pundit and actively provides forward-looking macroeconomic insights to support investment strategies and guide market positioning as a Senior Macro Strategist at PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia. In parallel, Dr. Fithra is also a Commissioner at InfraDigital, a pioneering fintech company strengthening economic access and social impact across Indonesia.
With over 18 years of academic experience, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, specialising in international economics, trade policy, and economic development. He is also the Co-Founder of Next Policy, a think tank devoted to advancing evidence-based policy formulation and fostering public discourse in Indonesia and beyond.
He holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from Waseda University, Japan, and has published extensively on trade strategies, regional integration, productivity dynamics, and production networks across East Asia and ASEAN.
