Leading Amid Human-Machine Collaboration
50% of C-Suite Leaders and Senior Executives say AI is de-skilling their teams — Boston Consulting Group (BCG)*
Digital technology now shapes how teams analyse, communicate, decide, and solve problems. Over-reliance on machines is exposing and deepening critical gaps in professional skills: erosion of critical thinking, inability to communicate clearly, and impaired interpersonal soft skills. Meanwhile, AI-generated outputs contribute to management burden, and continuous digital distractions reduce deep work and undermine original ideas.
As AI becomes embedded in organisations, leading with clarity and purpose is the new competitive advantage. Professionals need to ‘zoom out’ from the technology hype to elevate their vision and cultivate personal judgement, and conviction. Never have the challenges been greater and the rewards more fulfilling.
Our programme facilitates honest inquiry, strategic dialogue, hands-on project work, and stakeholder engagement toward the goal of enhancing core skills and providing organisations with a practical competitive advantage.

Drainage Services Department /
HKSAR Government
Innovative and eye-opening, significantly broadened my horizons, and enriched my understanding.

Applied Leadership Outcomes
In an age of technology overreach, leadership must retain control, manage human-machine collaboration, prioritise human well-being, and direct socially valuable outcomes.
This is not a technical training on automations or agentic productivity hacks. Through hands-on projects, participants will be tested on their conceptual thinking, boldness, relationship intelligence, and execution skills.
Participants will debate, engage, and apply themselves to create purpose-driven, tech-enabled proposals that address key social challenges aligned with Hong Kong’s forthcoming Five-Year Plan. Our hybrid programme structure enables flexibility and encourages a sense of personal ownership.
Through GIFT’s rigorous intellectual discourse and output-driven methodology, participants will:
- Rethink AI Integration
Develop human leadership capabilities that go beyond transactional KPIs - Steward AI to address Social Challenges
Ignite intellectual boldness and confidence to create tangible & purpose-driven outcomes - Enhance Stakeholder Engagement
Gain frontline exposure with businesses, government & civil society leaders - Strengthen Human Judgement
Safeguard critical thinking, problem-solving, & relational intelligence

Virtual Learning for Deeper Engagement
Global Awareness
In today’s volatile operating environments, navigating global complexities demands more than a surface-level understanding. The GLP encourages participants to look beyond mainstream narratives and delve deeper into the underlying forces shaping our world.
Participants will examine the impact of globalisation on political structures, economies, and social values, while reimagining capitalism to prioritise collective well-being in a resource-constrained world. You will gain insights into the intricate relationships among government, business, and civil society, learning to balance economic objectives with social and environmental responsibilities.
Additionally, participants will learn to develop strategies to manage organisational externalities and examine the trade-offs and potential of technological innovations for meaningful problem solving.
The content covered in Module 1 will be linked to supplementary modules in the GIFT.ed library for participants interested in exploring the themes further.

Module Two Experiential Project Learning
During Module 2, participants will travel to India for an immersive field project, taking learning beyond the classroom and into the realities of its dynamic informal food sector. Through site visits and engagements with communities, policymakers, urban planners, and industry practitioners, they will explore the challenges and opportunities in transforming India’s urban food ecosystem.
Working on adapting Singapore’s Hawker Centre model to the Indian context, participants will examine how public health, infrastructure, governance, cultural preservation, and economic inclusion intersect. They will develop innovative, commercially viable, and socially impactful solutions that improve food safety, strengthen livelihoods, and enhance urban liveability while respecting India’s rich street food traditions.
Participants leave with deeper on-the-ground insights, broader cross-sector perspectives, and new ways to approach complex challenges.
