Team & Job Description
The GIFT Programmes team is a diverse and motivated group of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. We work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, creative, and intellectually stimulating environment, with a broad, multi‑faceted remit.
It is a continuous learning journey where no two programmes or projects are the same. Much of the work is on executive education, with the rest spanning strategic advisory engagements and thought‑provoking content. The team also contributes to content creation and curation, alongside selected marketing, sales, and business development activities.
Role & Responsibilities
As Programme Manager, reporting to the Head of Programmes and Content, you will take a lead role in delivering and continuously improving GIFT’s executive education programmes, strategic advisory projects, and events, including talks, conferences, and webinars. These include in‑person experiential programmes, outcome‑driven workshops, blended learning journeys, and virtual programmes.
Working closely with GIFT colleagues, you will lead multiple projects concurrently, own key workstreams, and be accountable for delivery across the programme/project lifecycle.
Programmes & Projects
- Lead planning, sequencing, and prioritisation to achieve agreed milestones and outcomes
- Apply strategic, creative, and critical thinking to structure projects and deliver high‑quality outputs
- Manage and mentor junior team members supporting your programme/project
- Build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct and/or coordinate research for work design, content, collateral, and client deliverables
- Oversee logistics, including enrolment, travel, venues, meetings, and delivery arrangements
- Manage budgets, financial tracking, and responsible use of resources
- Document programme outcomes and refine participant deliverables
Business Support
- Contribute to GIFT’s thought leadership and content through research and writing
- Lead the development of proposals, concept notes, and client/market research
- Manage, mentor, and support the professional development of junior team members
- Support marketing collateral, partner/client engagement, and CRM management
- Contribute to internal strategy, development initiatives, and special projects
Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring strong relevant experience, while recognising that these capabilities may have been developed through different career paths.
- 7–10 years’ relevant experience preferred, ideally in project, programme, or event management, consulting, and/or advisory; strong adjacent experience will be considered
- MBA or Master’s degree in a technical or relevant field preferred
- Fluency in English required; Mainland Mandarin and other Asian languages an advantage
- Technologically confident, with hands‑on experience in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), AI tools, and video‑conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for programme/project delivery and client work
- Familiarity with Canva, HubSpot CRM, and online education or collaborative tools is a plus
- Experience in client relations, business communications, sales, marketing, and/or business development is advantageous

- A practical problem‑solver and confident negotiator, able to manage trade‑offs and resolve conflict constructively
- Experience managing small teams is an advantage
